We enjoyed 3 nights at this classy Casa, only 10 minutes to the center of the city. 5 minutes walk to Revolution Plaza, where one can hire a classic 50's car and lots to choose from. Very safe neighbourhood with store half a block away. The family were always trying to make sure we were happy and ok, large room with table for eating or your computer. 3 levels, the 2nd level just up a spiral staircase opens to a lovely outdoor dining / lounge area, adjacent is an indoor dining room with kitchen for guests. Go up one more level and it will take 30 minutes to check everything out, several pleasant views. Beautiful art is tastefully displayed almost everywhere in the Casa, these people are very well educated and talented. Everyone in the family has something to add to your stay, all the children are so respectful and a pleasure to have around. We enjoyed a very nice home cooked lobster and pork chop dinner with salad, and all the trimmings. Nice bottle of Merlot was a treat. Generous fresh breakfast of fruit, coffee, bread, jams and you could never eat it all, eggs prepared to your liking. We had the pleasure of taking them all out to dinner at a nice restaurant. We wanted to experience what it would be like to have dinner out with a Cuban family, we ended up having our own private dining room with great food, a place they knew, about 15 minutes walk. Spotless clean huge bathroom, very good AC, TV was good too although we did not use it much. Fridge in our room was well stocked with juices, pop/soda, 2 kinds of beer, water. We arrived very late and they even made us a ham and cheese sandwich at 11pm ! We were delayed and supposed to arrive at 8. We felt very at home here and already miss this nice family. Would stay here again for sure ! Many thanks for organizing Leo a very nice and fun driver to pick us up at Varadero Airport, he also drove us from Havana to Vinales. They also organized a friend/ professional driver to show us around Havana, a great day with him and pretty good English. Leo speaks good English and has a great sense of humor, he will be driving us from Vinales to Varadero at the end of our stay. We feel lucky to have stayed there and experience such great hospitality.

We had a very pleasant stay at Casa Algadadiva, it was just like being at home. The hosts were extremely friendly, and reliable. The accommodation was pretty comfortable, and clean, and decorated with a lot of fine art work.It took us around 10 mins to get to the center of Havana, taking a cab.All in all, the perfect place to stay - would recommend. It's about 10 Cuban Pesos to get to the city center, taking a cab from Plaza de la Revolucion. Getting a cab is quite easy.
